About
I had first launched this site in 2020 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic as a space to reckon with the boredom I felt on the contemporary internet compared to the internet of my youth that felt so fun to explore.
Now, in 2025, it's a common refrain that Google doesn't work anymore. That social media feels more like an obligation than something for personal enjoyment. That most websites are so ad-ridden to be nearly unreadable. That tech platforms continually become worse to use, and that they only ever seem to build new features if they can force AI into it.
This will be a place where I grieve losing the techno-optimism imparted upon me by my childhood, and where I relate the awkwardness of having had been "Extremely Online" proudly but now want to distance myself from that identity trait.
