I am a software engineer, creative technologist, and sewist. I am a millennial who had been extremely online since I was 12 years old that now is facing the modern shape of the internet and tech companies controlling it.

Now, in 2025, it's a common refrain that Google doesn't work anymore. That social media feels more like an obligation than something for personal enjoyment. That most websites are so ad-ridden to be nearly unreadable. We are experiencing an intentional deterioriation of what once felt like new tools to expand our abilities and possibilities.

I'm interested in how the digital world impacts the physical world, how online norms influence our everyday culture, how productivity tools impact our memory, and how online culture changes our internal sense of identity.
